Problem: Error when upgrading MSDE instance to SQL 2005 Express.
Problem: SQL BPA command line has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Fix: To correct the error do the following:

1.  Go to the following directory:  C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\BPA.


2.  In the BPA directory create a folder named BPAClient.


3.  Go to the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\BPA\bin directory and copy the BPAClient.dll file.


4.  Paste the BPAClient.dll into C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\BPA\BPAClient.


5.  Run the upgrade again.
