The following is addressed in Primavera ProSight 7.5 Service Pack 2:
Function engine will by default restart once every 24 hours (instead of once a week) This change was made to alleviate a Microsoft .NET issue which causes the function engine to use more memory than necessary when functions are created or edited. While it is a Best Practice to perform function development on a separate development environment, some customers who perform function development on their production environment, thereby possibly causing the production environment to eventually run out of memory for the function engine. Note that unlike previous versions, it is no longer necessary to stop the Watchdog to prevent the function engine from restarting every 24 hours as intermediate function engine results are now saved in the database so no intermediate results are lost when the function engine restarts.
Forms-Only user can upload documents Previously, Forms-Only users could not upload documents. These users can now as part of the expected behavior.
Adding or editing dependency properties now works as expected, using any user interface mechanism and/or using the Open API This issue was found to be caused by a bug in the dependencies properties edit dialog which caused inconsistent records to be inserted into the database. Any existing database inconsistencies are automatically fixed by the database upgrade from earlier versions of Primavera ProSight to 7.5 SP2. This means that any database that has been connected to an instance of Primavera ProSight 7.5 SP2 will automatically have been fixed.
On Windows 2003 64-bit, graph print and export now works as expected (64-bit Known Issues 4.1) Previously, graph print and export would fail if the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 was not installed. Primavera ProSight 7.5 SP2 automatically installs this version.
On Windows 2003 64-bit, online help is now accessible (64-bit Known Issues 4.2) Previously, online help was not accessible on Windows 2003 64-bit; an error message was displayed instead.
On Windows 2003 64-bit, Web Services install now works as expected (64-bit Known Issues 4.3) Previously, when attempting to install Web Services on Windows 2003 64-bit, the installation program would present an error.
On Windows 2003 64-bit, ASP.NET is enabled after installation (64-bit Known Issues 4.4) Previously, ASP.NET was not enabled automatically on Windows 2003 64-bit, necessitating a manual step after the install.
